Override Account Seats

You can override Account Seats if you do not (or do not want to) maintain them in the LMA.

You can simply maintain those overrides in your Partner Business Organization (PBO) via custom fields that are provided through our ISVapp Package.

If you maintain those values elsewhere - for example in your own custom fields - you may add an automation of your choice to keep the ISVapp-provided fields in sync with your own fields. ISVapp will automatically load the values specified in any override fields and adjust usage and compliance metrics accordingly.

Requirements

ISVapp package version 1.7.0.0 is installed in your Partner Business Organization (PBO). You can get the latest package version here.

Seat override fields

ISVapp will derive your Account's seat specifications from its licenses by default. Seat counts allow us to calculate detailed usage percentages and will help you to monitor license compliance throughout your customer base.

Additionally, in case that your license model includes Experience Cloud (Community) licenses, you can specify how many of the overall seats are allocated for internal or external (Experience Cloud) users.

Use the following fields to specify custom seat counts:

• Regular (internal) seats: Account.ia__SeatsInternal__c

• External, Community or Experience Cloud seats: Account.ia__SeatsExternal__c
